With a $250,000 contribution from neighboring owner, SKB, construction has started on a semi-circular plaza that will create an outdoor gathering spot at The Round in Beaverton.
Commitments are moving toward fulfillment while new tenants continue to show interest in making The Round their home.
Beaverton City Council voted 4-1 to move the municipal government to The Round’s South Office Building that they acquired in April. Todd Gooding, President of SKB, shares “We’re pumped. Our whole position was that the property needed to look and feel finished and occupied. And by the city moving in, that accelerates that process of making the project vibrant and finished.”
Planet Thai takes over the former Typhoon space and Discogs, an online music store and database, move into The Round.
